Our Story

Schultis Sundberg, Inc. was founded in 2009 by Mike Schultis and Meridith Sundberg. Since day one, the company has been dedicated to putting clients’ needs first, while bringing a high level of skill, craftsmanship and service to every project. Both Mike and Meridith come from generations of builders, and have acquired a lifetime of technical and management skills.

Meridith Sundberg
Owner/CFO

Meridith grew up in the construction business. She has a knack for refining processes, and her ability to meet head-on the challenges presented by a constantly changing industry have provided the best outcome for every SSI client.

Meridith earned her degree in Business Administration from Gonzaga University, and started her career with her family’s construction company.  At SSI, Meridith works behind the scenes running the business operations to ensure our projects run seamlessly to exceed the expectations of our clients. 

Michael Schultis
Owner/COO

Mike Schultis has had a lifelong passion for construction. His hands-on approach, creative problem solving and willingness to push the boundaries are the driving forces behind SSI.
Mike earned his degree in Business Administration from Western Washington University, and currently volunteers on the board of Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington

Sophia Herrmann
​Business Manager

Sophia has been in the construction industry for 20 years.  She has always worked as a General Contractor with a multifaceted background starting out as a receptionist, to Project Administrator, Project Engineer, Certified Payroll Specialist, Accounting, Human Resources to Business Manager.  Her favorite part of construction is conquering the many obstacles each project brings and working with a team of people to work through the solution.

Torin Sundberg
Project Manager

Torin is a third-generation builder whose grown up in the construction industry. He started out as a young field laborer, learning the ins and outs of the trade through his family’s construction company. Then worked his way through to become a project coordinator. Torin earned a degree from Washington State University and loves that construction always provides a challenge that with teamwork can be solved.
