Job Description SUMMARY
The Superintendent is responsible for managing the construction of projects with the highest level of safety and quality on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent oversees the daily progress of projects and keeps the project team updated regularly.

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Create and Maintain Project Schedules
- Generate Project Safety Documentation
- Enforce Project Safety
- Manage Scheduling and Dispatch of Field Labor
- Manage Communication and Field Inspections with AHJs
- Direct Weekly Toolbox Talk Meetings
- Manage and Train New Field Labor and Apprentices
- Maintain Inventory System
- Ensure Sufficient Safety Signage on Jobsites
- Direct and Support Assistant Superintendent and Field with:
- Ensuring Performed Work is in Scope and Changes are Flagged
- Daily and Weekly Site Reporting
- Job Hazard Analysis Process
- Execution of work
- Maintaining Quality Control of materials and equipment
- Safe storage and security of jobsite materials and equipment
- Mobilizing and Demobilizing Jobsites
- Preparation of Pre-Task Plan for Crew
- Apply the “Good Neighbor” rule when necessary
SECONDARY DUTIES
- Support Project Management with:
- Review of Project Contracts
- Creation of Project Profit Projections
- Project Kickoff and Debrief Meetings for Large Projects
- Generation and Management of Change Order Process
- Regular Project Meetings
- Formal Communication with Clients and Subcontractors
- Project Document Coordination
- Coordination of Subcontractors and Vendors
- Development and oversight of project execution strategy
- Support Sales and Estimating with Project Estimates and Budget
- Support Business Manager with:
- Maintenance of Fleet and Equipment
- Implementation of Training for Workforce
